The BRC have now published the Global Standard for Food Safety Version 5. The standard introduces some fundamental changes to the method of determining the audit result, as well as detailed changes to the technical requirements of the Standard. Lawlabs Ltd are holding a series of 1/2 day Update Briefings to assist you in understanding the new requirements so that you can implement the changes in time for your next audit.
The dates of the briefings are:
· Birmingham: 18th Feb '08
· Exeter: 20th February '08
· Glasgow: 22nd February '08
· Hull Marina: 26th February '08
· Cork: 11th March '08
The Briefings are led by Lawlabs Ltd Certification Scheme Manager, Jon Revell. Jon is one of the UK's most experienced BRC auditors and is Lawlabs Ltd's representative on the BRC Certification Bodies Working Group. The briefing will give you an invaluable insight not only into the changes in the standard but how they will be audited.
As a "C" grading for this Standard will result in a mandatory re-visit within 28 days of the audit and a 6 month re-inspection period, this a Briefing you should not miss.
All Briefings run from 9.30am - 1.30. Lunch is provided and there will be an opportunity to continue you discussions over lunch. The cost of the Briefings including lunch is £100 plus VAT.
