The course will provide a progression from the Introduction to Food Labelling and Composition Course, bringing you up to date with recent labelling legislation.
Significantly it gives you an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice through a series of case studies:
Ø Is it legal? Step into an Enforcement officers shoes to decide if labels are legal and whether you would prosecute
Ø Can you make a fortune from NPD - generate a legal label from recipe information – but one that will sell as well!
Ø You will gain the ability to interpret and apply food labelling legislation to your own commercial context. You will also be able to take account of legal compositional requirements during the NPD process.
