Retail Ready allows you to pick and choose all modules or just the modules you require to be totally prepared for supply goods to the retailers:
Module 1 – Composition:
This module of Retail Ready, our advisors will verify your recipes to make sure that they are legal and in line with the potential ingredients strategies of the retailers e.g. food additives, colours and QUID, by recipe check. Verification by analysis e.g. for claims, fats or vitamins is also available at additional cost.
Module 2- Specification:
This provides support through the NPD process to provide a generic specification template, completion guidance notes and validation of a maximum of 3 supplier completed specifications with one amendment per specification.
Module 3 - Labelling/Pack copy:
This module of Retail Ready ensures that the Pack Copy generated from a specification meets legal compliance and where appropriate, retailer guidance. The artwork will also be checked.
Module 4: Factory & Process Control:
In this module of Retail Ready, we can help you decide which level of factory & process control you need in place. Our advisors will provide advice on Good Manufacturing Practice for producing Safe & Legal Product and the practical implementation of HACCP systems. Ensure that standards are met for the retailer audit and/or Third Party certification to BRC/IFS/SQF.
Module 5: Due Diligence Testing:
This module ensures that appropriate QA testing regimes are implemented through in-house or external accredited laboratories to meet the technical specifications demanded by the retailer. This will also ensure that nutritional information for pack copy is appropriately generated and validated.
Module 6: Retail Specification input service:
This final module of Retail Ready covers when the product is listed by a retailer who requires an electronic specification system, our advisors can input the specification data from information provided by the supplier.
