Former Analyst Joins Bodycote Health Sciences Environmental

 26 September 2007

An analytical chemist, who started his career in what was then Law Laboratories and is now part of Bodycote Health Sciences, has returned to the Group more than 13 years later as Operational Director of its Environmental Division.

A Chartered Chemist and Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Richard Stokes has a wealth of management experience in environmental laboratories, and his new role will be to oversee Bodycote Health Sciences’ expanding business in this sector.

Richard has moved to Bodycote from the position of Organics Manager at ALcontrol Technichem where he managed the largest section of the most efficient environmental site in the process driving MCERTS accreditation and introducing the lab’s first LIMS system.

Richard Stokes commented:
“This is an exciting time for me to be joining Bodycote’s Environmental Testing business as the company invests in new equipment and offers the latest services to a range of industries. I am relishing the challenge!”
