Pete Martin and Dawn Brooker are two ‘new’ members of staff have joined Exova’s Food and Consumer Goods Advisory team.
Former Principal Trading Standards Officer (Food Safety) with Portsmouth City Council, Dawn Brooker has nearly 25 years experience in trading standards, most recently specialising in the enforcement of food standards legislation and is now a Food Law Advisor with Exova Food and Consumer Goods.
Peter Martin, ex-trading standards and an expert in food law worked for what was Law Laboratories for 8 years and has now re-joined the business.
Peter has extensive experience enforcing the whole range of consumer protection law and worked in the areas of product safety, metrology and food safety and labelling.
Peter has advised on food safety, labelling and auditing of food production sites in the UK and Europe. He has also spent time on non-food product related work, including product labelling and auditing of production sites.
Peter is a qualified ISO Lead Assessor and has a Masters Degree in Food Law.
